On March 26 you can show the Supreme Court that you’re in favor of LGBT equality by doing something most of us love to do anyway – kiss. The Supreme Kiss is a lip-locking show of support that coincides with the day the Supreme Court will be hearing arguments on the constitutionality of marriage rights for same-sex couples in America.
If you’d like to get in on the act, give a kiss, take a pic and then text, tweet and post it on social media with the tagline, “I kiss for equality!” You can also like “The Supreme Kiss” on Facebook to find out what’s happening with marriage equality.
Puckering up is especially important in a state like Pennsylvania where there are no laws protecting LGBT citizens on the state level. And even though the governor has said he would not support marriage equality legislation, the good news is more than half (62 percent) of Pennsylvanians believe that the LGBT community should be entitled to equal rights.
So go get some Chap Stick and get kissing.
